Kathakali Pgm Poster for KAGW!

Here comes my very latest poster designed for a Kathakali Workshop - to be organized by KAGW, US!

I loved working on this theme!! By Kathakali, the very thought that first hits the mind is lot of colorssss  :) 
The challenge was to strike a balance in the color combination used...

Am glad that even the organizers are happy with the end result!!!

No matter how deep the love is,
No matter how touched the heart feels,
A moment of aloofness, is all that takes to shove -
A lonely soul into the Prison of Love!

No matter how strong the trust is,
No matter how candy the spent time is,
One rough gaze, is all that takes to shove –
A lonely soul into the Prison of Love!

The Prison of Love - where gets the heart,
Crushed beneath the ego-full cart!
The Prison of Love – that rips a mind,
With cruel lashes of indifference - be of any kind!

Not a Joke nor a Sorry or even a sudden hug,
Bails off this horrendous - Prison of Love!
But a sincere smile, with an emotional tug;
Pulls away this dark and gloomy glove,
From the hands of – The Prison of Love!

Seldom

Seldom does my heart,

From the ocean of pain depart!

Still, seldom does my eyes,

Look at life in despise!

Seldom does my mind,

Lets off memories of any kind!

So, seldom does my brain,

From treasuring moments – refrain!

Seldom does my emotions,

Frees me from the grip of strange notions!

And seldom did that restrain my destiny,

To explore the realms of God’s “gifts“- so many!
